Attaching Suspension Cells to Slides Using the Cytocentrifuge

(Protocol summary only for purposes of this preview site)

A simple method for detecting intracellular antigens in cells that grow in suspension is to attach the cells to a solid substrate before fixation. This can be achieved by the use of a cytocentrifuge. The centrifugal force also spreads the cells slightly, allowing better resolution of internal structures (D Allen, pers. comm.).
